Stora Enso Nymölla has ordered a rebuilt of their existing fully automatic core cutter

The core cutter was installed in 1987 and the PLC system required to be updated.
At the same time CFE Nordic will upgrade some functions on the core cutter, with the aim to improve cutting accuracy and reduce dust both inside the cores and around the cutter.

CFE Nordic will also supply an automatic core infeeder for one of the mills existing two-drum winders. Both systems will be installed in the end of the year.

Stenqvist A/S Aurskog, Norway, orders a Butt Roll Unwinder for paper and plastic film. Te mill first had the unwinder on site for evaluation, and after successful testing, approved by both operators and management, they decided to order the unit.

Korsnäs buys their first battery driven RollMover for handling heavy rolls.

Stora Enso and Iggesund Paperboard buys battery driven RollMovers for handling paper rolls. The RollMover is now used within a number om different grades, such as board, fine paper, newspring... all with excellent result!

Holmen Paper, Braviken Mill, Sweden orders a fully automatic core cutter from CFE Nordic. The unit includes a single hopper for feeding the parent cores to the core cutter. After the cores have been automatically cut, they are ejected to a collecting table. The core cutter will be installed at the end of May.
